Description: The Arab and Chaldean Festival will take place at the Heart Plaza located in Downtown Detroit, on July 25 & 26, 2009.

The Arab World festival was established as a non – profit community organization in 1972 and is now known as the Arab & Chaldean Festival.

It is the largest Arab and Chaldean American cultural event in North America will be celebrating its 38th anniversar.

Each year more than 50,000 people attend the festival.

The festival features a variety of Arab and Chaldean food, Ethnic Cultural Gallery and an impressive entertainment program which will include a Fashion Show scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2008, Childrens fair scheduled on Saturday July 25, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Entertainment program for this year's line up includes renowned entertainers featuring the singer star Husam AL Rassam, Khairy Boudagh, Raad Kizy, Majid Zingilo, Ramy AL Eissa, Arabian Knights Folkdance Troupe, The Our Lady of Lebanon Dabke Troupe, and the Arabian tent with Coffee cup Reader from Muhamasat Hashems and other Folkloric Dancers.
